Elite allowance (special pay) @ 40% of basic pay.
As per minutes of the meeting held on 21.04.2012, under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Punjab, decision number (xii) reads that Home Department will take measures for training of jail officials at Elite Training College, Lahore on regular basis under kind control of Home Secretary, Inspector General of Police Punjab and Inspector General of Prisons Punjab.
- 162 officials of Prisons Department have completed the Elite Training Program of six months' duration at Elite Police Training School, Bedian Road, Lahore
- Elite Commando Training has not only enhanced the efficiency of Prisons Officials to combat any odd situation of Law & orders in the Prisons but has also boosted up the morale of the personnel
- Elite Allowance (Special Pay) has now been approved by the Home Department vide order No.SO(R&P)21-10/2012 on 2th March, 2015 for the qualified Prisons Personnel w.e.f. 01.06.2013 on the analogy of the Police Department
