A Message from the Minister

Our vision in the Punjab Prisons Department is to create a conducive environment of reformation and welfare, with special focus on juvenile offenders and women, so that every inmate leaves prison as a productive, responsible and functional citizen of society.

In line with the directions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Chief Minister Punjab, we are committed to strengthening prison reforms by promoting good governance, improving correctional services and engaging civil society and social sector organizations in achieving meaningful and sustainable reforms throughout the province.
