| District Jail, Gujrat was commissioned in 1930 and area of Jail is 15 acre, area of lines 24 kanal, area of Jail colony 20 kanal. The authorized accommodation of the Jail is 385 prisoners whereas 1407 prisoners are confined here. |

Rehabilitation Center |

The addicts prisoners are treated in Rehabilitation Center under the supervision of Medical Officer. |

Medical Services |

One Medical Officer, one Nursing Assistant, one Dispenser and three nursing orderlies are appointed for provide the medical facilities to prisoners. Medical facilities like ECG, Ultra sound, TB diagnosis Lab and also medicines provide to prisoners from Jail Hospital. |

Education |

One religious teacher from Jamiat taleem-ul- Quran Trust are appointed to impart education among prisoners. Classes are conducted in the juvenile ward on daily basis. A library is also established. |
